“Designing Gorillas with Bananas” Hackathon is a one week program for more than 100 students of Creative Entrepreneurship Master.
The process started with the definition of a specific problem, the students brainstormed possible solutions, converged on a particular solution, built a prototype of their solution and prepared their pitch.
How might we foster creativity & entrepreneurship in higher education? One week-long immersive team activity required the teams to learn and implement the principles of the design thinking process and is meant to cultivate the creative confidence of the students to solve complex problems.
This Hack was conceptualized and developed in collaboration and for the Tilburg University.
We teamed together with an NYC-based designer, an education innovator, and the course instructors.
A selected jury attended to the final pitch presentations giving value to their approaches of future education.
